Marine Gearbox Design

This project involved the complete mechanical design of a marine gearbox, including shaft layout, gear placement, and bearing selection. All shafts were analyzed under real operating loads, and appropriate SKF bearings were selected according to DIN standards. L10h life calculations, safety factors, and radial load considerations were meticulously documented. The design complies with industrial marine transmission requirements and includes realistic assembly-ready models for manufacturing.
