Lifting beam for chillers: design and FEA (Inventor, AxisVM)

Engineering consultancy project (BRAVNN, 2025). A lifting beam to set chillers in place during installation. I went through three versions before the final one, which lifts 18,000 kg with three IPN 260 and four PNC 200 sections. I designed and modeled the three versions in Inventor, ran finite element analyses and checked them in AxisVM, modeled the 20 plates and prepared their cutting files (DXF), and wrote the three calculation reports. At 18,000 kg the final version meets a safety factor above 2.0, the value required for this job.
