Lifting accessories and lift supports for an assembly line: assessment and FEA design (Inventor)

Engineering consultancy team project (BRAVNN, 2025 and 2026); here is my part. At an assembly plant we assessed the lifting beams and accessories they already had and designed new ones. In 2025 I surveyed lifting beams on site, modeled and assessed them (7 assessment reports) and put together the summary of changes: out of 24 beams reviewed, 19 stayed as they were and 5 were modified. In 2026 I designed lift supports for 1,250 kg in three versions and an accessory to lift a 36 kg PLC panel, with finite element analysis in Inventor; I wrote 4 reports and drew 6 drawings. The most loaded lift support reached 68.77 MPa, just under the 69 MPa allowed for SAE 1008 steel with a safety factor of 3.
