Water Paint Palette Tray Injection Moulding Design (Creo Parametric 9) Designed a consumer-grade water paint palette tray with 12 paint wells and a central mixing zone, fully engineered for injection moulding production. What was done: Part modelling with 2° draft angles & edge fillets for clean mould release Mould fill analysis on 4 materials (ABS, HDPE, PA6, PP) HDPE selected & optimised Two-part mould design (core + cavity) with shrinkage application & test shot verification Clamp force calculated: 143.55 kN 5-sequence CNC milling simulation total machining time ~53 minutes BS 8888-compliant technical drawing produced at Scale 1:2 Tools: PTC Creo Parametric 9 · Creo Mould Analysis · Creo Manufacturing (NC)
