Implantable Brain Probe Housing

This custom implantable housing is designed for performing brain recordings in rats. It is built for use with the 128-channel Horizontal Headstage from SpikeGadgets® (SpikeGadgets®, Inc., San Diego, CA, USA) and Cambridge NeuroTech® 64-channel silicon probes (Cambridge NeuroTech®, Cambridge, UK), along with a custom interface board to connect the probes to the headstage. The housing incorporates the Cambridge NeuroTech® Nano-Drive, allowing the probe to be raised or lowered incrementally after implantation using a small flathead screwdriver. The design is a 3-part, 3D-printable assembly that can be easily assembled using standard #0-80 fasteners and nuts.
