This project involved the complete design of a rear light guardusing 3D scan dataprovided by the client. The objective was to create a part that fits perfectly around the rear light cluster while maintaining a clean design language and ensuring full light visibility.Scope of Work
Creation of a full 3D CAD modelof the rear light guard based on provided 3D scan and client reference images.
The guard geometry was designed to follow the exact profile and curvatureof the rear light lens for a flush and accurate fit.
Structural bars were shaped to avoid obstructing the light output while still providing protection.
Integration of custom mounting clipscontaining captive M6 nuts directly from the scanned base.
Precise placement of mounting holesaligned to the clip positions.
Addition of client branding (DXF logo) and part number.
Multiple design revisions were performed to reach the final version delivered.
Final geometry prepared for manufacturing / prototyping
