Faux Window with Mirror — CNC Furniture Engineering
Design and engineering of a custom decorative faux window for a café interior, developed from the client’s initial sketch.
The structure consists of two symmetrical plywood modules connected with a keyhole interlock. Each module was designed with CNC-cut recesses for flush-mounted mirrors and a solid beech grid, also manufactured using CNC machining. Faux Window.pdf
Particular attention was given to manufacturing accuracy, assembly logic and concealed connections. The two modules were fully assembled and finished in the workshop, then delivered to the site and joined into a single structure without visible fasteners. Faux Window.pdf
The project included detailed 3D modeling and production preparation for CNC manufacturing, followed by fabrication, finishing and final installation.
