Existing reinforced-concrete monolithic slab assessment and strengthening design. This project shows the full workflow for checking an existing cast-in-place RC slab under increased service loads and developing a practical strengthening solution. Scope of work: - Review of existing slab geometry, reinforcement, concrete grade and support conditions - Load upgrade assessment for a new use case - Bending moment, deflection, crack-control and ULS/SLS verification - Capacity check of existing reinforcement - Identification of critical slab strips and deficient zones - Strengthening layout using CFRP strips on the slab soffit - Additional top reinforcement over support bands - Typical strengthened sections, anchorage zones and material schedule - Implementation notes for surface preparation, epoxy bonding and inspection The example demonstrates my approach to existing structure assessment, reinforced-concrete slab strengthening, structural calculations and construction-ready detailing.
