Dual-Head Automatic Salt Filling Machine Design
This project involved the mechanical design and development of a dual-head automatic salt filling machine engineered for high-speed, accurate dispensing of granular food products. The system was designed to improve production efficiency by simultaneously filling two containers while maintaining consistent fill accuracy and reliable operation.
The machine incorporates a robust structural frame, dual filling stations, product feeding system, synchronized dispensing mechanisms, and provisions for integration with automated packaging lines. The design focused on ensuring smooth material flow, minimizing product spillage, and simplifying maintenance while maintaining a compact machine footprint.
Special attention was given to component accessibility, modular assembly, and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles to facilitate fabrication, assembly, and long-term operational reliability. The machine was developed using a fully parametric CAD workflow, allowing efficient design modifications and customization for different container sizes, production capacities, and granular products.
