Donkey Cart Design 1

A donkey cart for small scale rural farmers in South Africa. Cart to be hauled by one donkey average mass of 175 kg. Design for long distances, 8 km from the market place. Payload ~200kg. Canopy shelter provided by light weight Aluminum frame and flexible cover (inspiration from golf cart carts covers, any material that is water resistant, make sure to include ventilation if material selected is not breathable). Designed to be locally manufactured and materials to be locally sourced and available (Mainly pine planks, shutters, structural steel square tubes for frame (minimum used 32 by 32 mm, 1.6 mm thick to maintain structural integrity with a safety factor greater than 2), and Aluminum round tubes 19mm 2 mm thick (can be substituted) , any Toyota Hilux axle can be substituted( currently in use Toyota Hilux 2.0VVTi axle, with 205/75R15 wheels).
