Custom PS2 Console Housing — CAD Modeling & 3D Printing
Custom PS2 console housing developed by Eleven 3D in Autodesk Fusion 360 and produced as a 3D-printed prototype.
Challenge: Model an enclosure that accommodates the existing electronic components, connector openings and ventilation features.
Solution and contribution: Eleven 3D modeled the housing geometry and manufactured the printed enclosure. The prototype was assembled with the console electronics and tested on the console, as confirmed by the project owner.
The gallery presents four CAD views followed by three retouched photographs of the printed housing: front, top and the open assembly showing the electronic components. The photographs have presentation retouching; they document the physical prototype.
This project demonstrates mechanical CAD modeling, electronic enclosure integration and 3D printing. The reported console test is a practical prototype test; no formal thermal, electrical-safety or durability certification is claimed.
Independent custom housing project for a PS2 console.
