Cobot Pick & Place System for Infotainment Display Assembly
Objective: Develop a cobot-based pick and place system for handling infotainment display units between rack storage and conveyor processing.
Solution: Designed the rack structure, fixtures, and gripper system. Integrated a pneumatic rotary actuator for part orientation, along with sensors and poka-yoke features for correct part detection.
Impact: Enabled reliable part handling and positioning, improving process consistency and reducing operator intervention.
