CNC Aluminum Manifold Block | SolidWorks & DFM

This project demonstrates a production-ready aluminum manifold block designed for multi-operation CNC machining. The component includes multiple intersecting bores, threaded holes, counterbores, side ports, and precision-machined mounting interfaces. The design was evaluated with manufacturing requirements in mind, including tool accessibility, machining setups, collision risk, wall thickness, tolerance control, and operation sequencing. Key manufacturing specifications: • CNC-machined aluminum construction • Multiple threaded and precision bore features • ISO 2768-mK general tolerances • Ra 3.2 μm standard surface finish • Black anodized surface treatment • Laser-marked identification This project highlights my experience in SolidWorks modeling, CNC machining DFM, manufacturing documentation, tolerance planning, and production-ready mechanical design.
