“Conducted a CFD analysis of a Formula 1 car front wing to evaluate and optimize its aerodynamic performance under ground-effect conditions. The geometry was modeled in SolidWorks and analyzed in ANSYS Fluent using a refined mesh and appropriate turbulence models to capture flow separation, downforce generation, and drag characteristics. Post-processing in ParaView provided insights into pressure distribution, vortex structures, and wake behavior. The study quantified lift-to-drag performance, highlighting the wing’s efficiency in generating high downforce with minimal drag, essential for cornering stability and overall race performance
