Industrial Cable Rack Assembly for Fitness Equipment
This project involved the design and development of a heavy-duty cable rack assembly for commercial fitness equipment. The objective was to create a rigid, durable, and aesthetically refined structure capable of supporting multiple cable attachments while ensuring smooth operation, user safety, and long service life.
The assembly was developed in SolidWorks using a fully parametric design approach, allowing efficient modifications and seamless integration with the overall fitness machine. The design emphasizes structural strength, manufacturability, and ease of assembly while maintaining a clean, modern appearance suitable for commercial gym environments.
Key engineering considerations included proper load distribution, component alignment, manufacturable weldment design, and optimized hardware placement to simplify fabrication and assembly.
