Blister Pack Conveyor System for Pharmaceutical Packaging
This project involved the design and development of a blister pack conveyor system for automated pharmaceutical packaging lines. The objective was to provide a reliable, precision-engineered conveying solution capable of transporting blister packs efficiently between production processes while maintaining product orientation, minimizing handling, and supporting high-speed manufacturing operations.
The conveyor system was designed in SolidWorks using a fully parametric modeling approach, enabling rapid customization for different production layouts and product sizes. The assembly incorporates a robust stainless steel frame, precision conveyor guides, adjustable support structures, drive components, and modular assemblies designed for easy installation, maintenance, and future expansion.
Special attention was given to product stability, conveyor alignment, hygienic design principles, and Design for Manufacturing (DFM). The system was engineered to ensure smooth product transfer, minimize jams, and maintain consistent throughput while meeting the demanding requirements of pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
