Automated Vision Inspection & End-of-Line Test Station

Objective: Design an end-of-line testing station for automotive instrument clusters, combining three inspection stages into one system to improve cycle time and reduce space. Solution: Developed the structure, enclosure, and interchangeable fixtures with poka-yoke, guided positioning, and quick pneumatic/electrical connections. Integrated a 3-position indexing table with servo-driven cameras and adjustable brackets. Impact: Reduced footprint and improved inspection consistency, supporting a more efficient testing process.
