**AstraSort X1** is a modular automated product-sorting system concept designed and developed using SolidWorks 2025. The system integrates conveyor-based product handling, a height-based acceptance mechanism, a Geneva-drive indexing system, and a guided collection chute to demonstrate synchronized mechanical sorting operations. Featuring a 150 mm conveyor design, a 22 mm clearance opening, and a four-position indexing table that rotates in 90° increments, AstraSort X1 showcases the integration of mechanical linkages, intermittent rotary motion, and product transfer within a compact assembly. Its modular CAD architecture, comprising editable components and five subassemblies, supports further design development, mechanism optimization, and adaptation for small-product handling, packaging, inspection, and educational automation applications. The project highlights practical mechanical engineering, 3D CAD modeling, assembly design, and kinematic motion visualization.
