Questions and answers
STL, OBJ and 3MF. If you have the original Rhino file (.3dm) or STEP, send it too: I can fix the problem at the source and export a clean mesh.
For castable resin and silver or gold casting I check a minimum wall of 0.8 mm on bands and 0.6 mm on prongs and fine details, unless your caster gives me other numbers. Anything thinner is reported and thickened only where it does not change the design.
Yes. I change the inner diameter to the new size (US, UK or mm) and keep the band width, stone seats and details at their original size, instead of scaling the whole ring.
Any resin printer that opens 3MF or a sliced file from ChiTuBox or Lychee: Anycubic, Elegoo, Phrozen, Formlabs and similar. Tell me your printer model and resin, and I orient and support the piece for it.
