I take pride in being a Civil Engineer and bringing projects and ideas to life but nothing is as rewarding to me as the reviews and feedback from my clients. I am a dedicated professional who always focuses on each and every detail and aims to not only meet my clients’ demands but to exceed their expectations. When working, I take into account my clients’ job description, materials, tools and methods being used for construction, the architectural drawings involved, site of construction to determine the soil bearing capacity and time required to complete the project. What’s more, I do understand that each client’s project may be similar or different hence I handle each project accordingly. Prior to venturing into freelancing, I have worked with private consultant firms and the Ministry of Lands and Public Works in Kenya. Where I was involved in drafting using Autocad, handling clients, making site visits to our various projects , formulating barbending schedules, as a representative of the firm during meetings, preparing bills of quantities, and also training new recruits on how to use Autocad software . During my time here I was devoted to ensuring customer satisfaction and project success. After working for 3 years in different industries and mastering design and detailing of structural drawings, I was drawn to join the freelancing sector so that I would get the chance to work with new clients and handle new projects that would help me grow and improve my skills. For me, designing drawing and detailing is a livelihood I really enjoy and would love to pursue.
