I am a Structural Engineering Technician with 11 years’ experience working in a busy engineering consultancy office. I achieved my qualifications by studying part time while working full time hours to completing Level 7 BEng Tech in Civil Engineering and more recently a Level 8 HDip. in BIM (Building Information Modelling) for Civil Engineering. I have worked on a range of projects which include traditional and rapid build schools (steel frame/masonry/precast concrete), residential housing and apartment developments, hospital MRI room extensions, building refurbishments. I have been responsible for providing structural general arrangement and detail drawings, detailing of rebar drawing packs & providing bent bar schedules and weights and attending site for routine inspections. • AutoCAD • Revit Structures • Rebar Detailing with the CADS RC package • Autodesk Vehicle Tracking • Good knowledge of structural aspects of buildings • Microsoft Word & Excel
