I'm Mechanical Design/R&D Manager with 10+ years of experience in machine development. Advanced expertise in SolidWorks 3D modeling, FEA, motion analysis and managing design team dealing with huge SolidWorks assemblies (+15,000 parts). Expertise in Ansys structural analysis (Static and Dynamic). Currently leading R&D and design operations at De-MEC, Experienced in taking products from concept to production, including design, simulation, prototyping, and validation. My background includes automotive design. Advanced Simulation & Analysis (FEA/MBD/DEM) - Ansys & SolidWorks FEA: Static, Transient, Vibration (Modal/Harmonic), and Non-Linear Dynamics. - Multi-Body Dynamics (MBD): Ansys Motion, Rigid Dynamics, and MSC ADAMS for complex mechanism behavior. - CFD : SolidWorks Flow Simulation and Optimization studies. - Particle Physics: Discrete Element Modeling (DEM) using Ansys Rocky. SolidWorks Automation: Custom SolidWorks API programming (VBA) to automate repetitive design tasks and internal workflows. Project Management & Design Oversight. I lead projects from concept to factory floor (Concept benchmarking, design calculations, analysis, components and supplier selection). Technical Leadership: Design reviews and team coordination. Expert in large assembly management in SolidWorks. Some of the machines I’ve designed include: - Grain processing equipment: vibrating screens, gravity tables, indented cylinders, threshing machines, trommel screens, and dust extraction systems (bag filters & cyclones). - Post-harvest machinery: wet hoppers, box tippers, washing/brushing systems, belt dryers, and bag packing machines. - Sorting and grading systems: cup weight sorters, roller graders, and belt grading machines.
