• Ability to manage resources and complete multiple tasks to meet project deadlines. • Ability in implementing engineering theories to develop conceptual design, perform structural and thermal analysis and solve engineering problems. • Good understanding of metal fabrication including laser processing, machining, welding, and forming. • Understanding and competency in structural, vibration, thermal, short circuit force analysis, creepage and clearance analysis for MV application, mechanism design, DFMEA, and PFMEA. • Demonstrated ability in Pro-E Wildfire/Creo, Pro/Sheet metal, Pro-E Mechanism, Pro-E Mechanica, Pro/Interlink, and PDM, experience with an understanding of building parametric models properly. • Proficient in FEA (ANSYS Mechanical and Icepack), AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Hands-on experience using National Instruments LabVIEW 7.0 and NI-DAQmx driver software. • Proficient in SAP transitions. • Familiar with drawing and design practices, product development life cycle adopted by companies like Rockwell Automation, Case New Holland (CNH), CATERPILLAR, John Deere Forestry, etc with good mechanical skills and ability to generate and maintain product detail and assembly drawing files. • Great verbal and oral communication skills - interacted with suppliers, material testing Lab personnel, and customers to identify necessary improvements.
