As you know my name is Greg Sheldon. But what you don't know is that I have a knack for efficiency and a passion for 3D Cad design using Solidworks. Plus! I work in the commercial and industrial markets doing real world design, of real working parts and assemblies every single day. With that said, it indicates I am capable of seeing potential problems before they arise. And I certainly don't have any problem discussing these issues with my clients and/or you. This is simply because its always better to catch the problem in design than having to recall a product down the road, which will ultimately cost everyone a bunch of money... So that's just barely scratching the surface about me, and I look forward to any future endeavor with you. Oh and I am a Canadian resident just outside Toronto Ontario, and speak excellent english.

I have 15+ years of design and drafting experience in oil & gas, refinery, power plant, industrial plant, well pads, pipeline, tank terminal and FPSO projects around the world. Experience covers area of responsibilities & involvements in design drafting and 3D modeling of piperacks, equipment structures, miscellaneous structures and foundations for pumps, compressors, vertical and horizontal vessels and buildings. I have been involved in creating of pile, foundation, concrete and structural steel detailing drawings, making bill of quantities, checking of pile, concrete and structural steel design & fabrication drawings. I have been involved in various stages of engineering such as basic engineering, front end engineering & detailed engineering. Proficient in the use of AISC, ACI, CISC & CSA structural codes & standards and implementation of department & company manual procedures and work instructions to meet the requirement of ISO-9001. An engineering/drafting professional currently pursuing a career in structural modelling, project coordination, and design assistance specifics on timber and/or steel using Cadwork Software. Has also experience in structural steel design & engineering calculations related to Oil & Gas Industry. Has a very competent knowledge of Tekla Structure and Steel Detailing in general. Able to interpret structural and architectural design drawings well. Also familiar with design codes such as AISC, CISC, ACI. Accustomed with a number of structural analysis/calculation software. Digital Fabrication and Design graduate trained with Autodesk Fusion 360 and other CAD/CAM software - Adobe Creative Cloud in general. Has a very strong foundation in subtractive manufacturing specifically on CNC Machine and Laser Cutting. Also knowledgeable and familiar with other engineering related software. Excellent user of Microsoft Office applications.
