I am working on a small aerodynamics project and need help optimizing a wing planform (chord, span, sweep, taper, airfoil) against a set of performance targets using OpenVSP, ideally with VSPAero for quick sweeps and SU2 for validation. I can share the relevant target numbers to work from.
I'd rather learn than just get a file back. Looking for someone who can walk me through their reasoning as they go, point out where my current approach is off, and help me actually get competent at this rather than just handing me a finished result. Happy to have you do the harder parts directly, but explain the "why" along the way.
Ideal fit: solid hands-on OpenVSP experience, comfortable working from abstracted numbers rather than a full spec, and some patience for teaching. Budget's on the modest/student side — quote your rate for a small scoped session and I'll go from there.
