I'm Karthick, founder of About Space, a furniture brand selling on Amazon India with our own factory. We manufacture flat-pack engineered-wood furniture (particle board / MDF with laminate) on a beam saw, edge banding machine, NC drilling machine and CNC router. We are launching a large pipeline of new models across office tables, study tables, TV units, shoe racks, wardrobes, beds, bookshelves, kitchen and bar units.
EXAMPLE OF A TYPICAL PRODUCT you would engineer for us (compact desk with 3 drawers including one vertical file drawer + hutch shelf): TTVIEW Computer Desk with Drawers and Hutch Shelf (Amazon)
Deliverables per model:
1. Cabinet Vision 3D model built from reference photos + dimensions as per the product link.
2. Knock-down (flat-pack) construction: cam locks/minifix, dowels, standard hardware
3. Full cutlist with edge-banding specification per panel
4. Drilling patterns for NC drilling (32 mm system where relevant)
5. Nesting/CNC output via S2M Center, or fully detailed DXF exports
6. Hardware BOM and simple exploded assembly drawing
7. Courier-friendly carton/packing plan (preferred, not mandatory)
File formats:
Native Cabinet Vision (.CAB/.CVJ) preferred; DXF/DWG acceptable if fully manufacturable.
