Freelance Vectorworks CAD Designer / Draftsperson Ended

I am interior designer looking for a freelance Vectorworks CAD Designer / Draftsperson with an interior design or architectural background to provide ongoing support on high-end residential projects.

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys both the technical and creative sides of design and is looking to build a long-term working relationship.

Responsibilities
Produce accurate construction drawings in Vectorworks
Develop detailed drawing packages from design concepts
Create floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailing
Build and maintain 3D Vectorworks models
Produce presentation renderings when required
Assist with revisions throughout the design process
Work collaboratively to meet project deadlines and maintain drawing standards
About You
Proficient in Vectorworks (essential)
Background in interior design, architecture, or architectural technology
Strong understanding of residential construction and detailing
Experience preparing construction documentation
Able to interpret design intent and translate it into accurate technical drawings
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Self-motivated, reliable, and comfortable working remotely
Bonus Skills
Photorealistic rendering experience
Experience with custom millwork detailing
Knowledge of BC residential construction practices
Experience with luxury residential projects
The Opportunity

This is a freelance contract position with the potential for an ongoing relationship as projects grow. Work will vary depending on project workload and may include everything from concept drawings and 3D modelling through to full construction documentation.
