Looking for a mechanical/product design engineer with furniture experience to develop the technical engineering of furniture connection systems, not the concept design or styling. The product concepts are already finalized; what's needed is the engineering and development of the components and how they join: exact joint geometry, tolerances, and fastening method for a tool-less, field-assemblable connection between different seats and chairs components, designed to withstand frequent reassembly without wear-related failure, plus production-ready 2D/3D CAD drawings (STEP/IGES and dimensioned drawings) suitable for a manufacturer to tool and quote.
