About the job
About the Role
We are looking for a freelance CAD rendering specialist to support our home decor and furniture product line. This is an execution-focused role: you will not be designing furniture from scratch. Instead, you will be given a partially completed 3D model (typically 70–80% complete) along with exact product dimensions and reference images, and your job is to complete and finish the model into an accurate, photorealistic render.
Precision, fidelity to the given dimensions, and rendering quality matter far more here than original design creativity.
What You Will Be Given
• A partially built 3D model (roughly 20–30% of modeling work remaining)
• Exact product dimensions and specifications
• Reference images and/or material/finish references
• A brief on required camera angles, background, and output format
What You Will Deliver
• A completed 3D model that matches the given dimensions exactly — no deviation in scale or proportion
• Photorealistic rendered output(s) as specified in the brief (e.g., white-background product shots, lifestyle/room-context renders)
• Editable source file in the agreed software format, plus final rendered images
• Work completed within agreed turnaround time, with revisions per the agreed scope
Key Responsibilities
• Complete partially modeled 3D furniture/decor products to exact given dimensions
• Apply accurate materials, textures, and finishes (wood, metal, fabric, upholstery, etc.) to match references
• Set up ligh...

• Apply accurate materials, textures, and finishes (wood, metal, fabric, upholstery, etc.) to match references
• Set up lighting and camera angles to produce photorealistic, catalog-ready renders
• Maintain strict dimensional accuracy — output must match spec, not approximate it
• Deliver both editable model files and final renders in agreed formats
• Turn around work within committed timelines for each piece/batch
Required Skills & Experience
• Proven experience in CAD modeling and photorealistic rendering for furniture or home decor products (portfolio required)
• Proficiency in industry-standard software such as SketchUp, 3ds Max, or Rhino, paired with a rendering engine (e.g., V-Ray, Corona, Enscape)
• Strong ability to work from a partially completed model and given dimensions, rather than designing independently
• High attention to dimensional accuracy and proportion
• Experience producing both technical (white background/catalog) and lifestyle (in-context) renders
• Ability to deliver in common interchange formats (e.g., OBJ, FBX, SKP, MAX) as required
Engagement Terms
• Engagement type: Freelance / Consultancy basis
• Compensation: Per design/piece (project-based), not hourly — rate to be quoted against defined complexity tiers (e.g., simple item, medium item, complex/modular item)
• Volume: Work will be assigned in batches as per business requirement
• Revisions: Number of included revision rounds to be agreed per piece before quoting
How to Apply
Interested candidates/consultants should share: a portfolio of relevant furniture/decor CAD rendering work (preferably including examples where you completed or refined a partial model rather than designed from scratch), software proficiency, and indicative per-piece pricing across simple, medium, and complex product tiers.
