WILDEN Design is a UAE-based landscaping service dedicated to connecting people with nature. By offering bespoke and pre-styled naturalistic landscapes, we help homeowners create gardens that reflect thoughtful environmental practices whilst improving their wellbeing with a outdoor lifestyle.
We're entering a phase where we production drawings need to be legible, on brand, and simple to produce. The aim is that contractors and clients enjoy reading our drawings and find them easy to build.
Role Description
- This is a short-term contract for a Landscape Draftsman, with a strong working knowledge of Rayon (essential), and any other CAD software.
- You can be freelance or part-time alongside an existing job. You may be remote, globally.
- You will set up our CAD standards in Rayon, creating innovative style and asset groups for garden plans, planting, BOQs, and construction details.
- You'll create a basic, but beautiful, landscape drafting style that can be used across our plans and details.
- You'll use our data to create a BOQ format that will allow us to quantify plants and materials in a template BOQ.
Using our existing CAD standards, and your own, to create a set of about 40-50 typical landscape details which are simplified and understandable to non-technical people. This is a very creative part of the role as we're aiming to make something unique in the industry and not like boring B&W CAD standards. We need design flair!
