About the job
We are building the SLunchBox—a premium, one-piece children's lunch container.
Let's get this out of the way: This is NOT a standard, flat-sided bento box. If your plan is to download a generic stock file and stretch it a bit, please save your time and ours. We are looking for an experienced industrial designer or CAD engineer who understands the dark arts of High Consistency Rubber (HCR) silicone compression molding.
The Hard Specs (What You'll Be Engineering):
One-Piece Construction: The base and lid must be engineered as one continuous silicone piece to be molded in a single shot.
The "Slime" Aesthetic: This is our core differentiator. The exterior must feature asymmetrical, organic, bumpy textures (think lava lamp blobs or slime) with 0.5–2.0mm raised irregular surfaces covering 60–80% of the exterior. Absolutely zero flat, geometric sides (except of coarse for the internal compartments which need precision sealing).
The Living Hinge: A robust, tethered silicone hinge connecting the base to the lid, engineered for a full 180° opening and a minimum lifespan of 10,000+ flex cycles.
Leak-Proof Compression Seal: A continuous perimeter lip seal built for 20–25% compression that seamlessly bridges the hinge zone.
Internal Layout: 4 distinct compartments. All internal corners require a minimum 2mm radius to ensure easy cleaning (we don't do bacteria traps).
Spork Holder: An integrated friction-fit retention cavity molded right into the hinge are...

Required Deliverables:
Production-ready solid STEP (.stp) files.
2D Technical Drawings (.pdf) with tolerances and draft angles.
The "Prove You're Human" Test (Required):
To ensure you have actually read this brief and understand compression molding, please start your proposal with the word "JELLYFISH" and answer these two questions:
Have you engineered a one-piece consumer product with a flexible silicone living hinge before?
How do you propose handling the drafting and parting lines on a highly textured, 2mm organic bumpy surface to ensure it clears a hot compression mold without tearing?
