Project Description:
We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled freelance PCB Layout Designer to redesign one of our existing embedded boards. The primary goal of this project is to change the physical size/form factor of the current board while maintaining its core functionality.
The main CPU for this board is the Rockchip RK3588, which requires expertise in multi-layer, high-speed routing (e.g., DDR, PCIe, etc.).
What We Will Provide:
Complete schematic data designed in Siemens PADS.
Mechanical constraints and DXF/STEP files for the new board dimensions: [ 87mm x 58 mm].
Stack-up requirements and general design guidelines.
Scope of Work:
Import the provided Siemens PADS schematics and set up the new board outline.
Perform component placement tailored to the new physical constraints.
Route the PCB, ensuring strict adherence to high-speed design rules (Impedance control, length matching for RK3588 interfaces).
Run DRC (Design Rule Check) to ensure the design is ready for manufacturing.
Required Skills & Software:
Mandatory Tool: Siemens PADS (Please state your specific version, e.g., PADS Standard/Plus or PADS Professional VX).
Proven experience in designing high-density, multi-layer PCBs (HDI experience is a plus).
Strong background in high-speed routing for complex SoCs like the RK3588.
Ability to communicate clearly and provide regular updates.
