We need a CAD designer/engineer with experience in welded tube-frame structures to help complete a conical-style engine mount for an experimental aircraft.
The hard point locations are already specified in the shared Onshape 3D model. The task is to finalize the 4130 Chromoly tube-frame layout, ensuring proper triangulation and load-path practices.
Requirements:
Finalize geometry for a conical-style mount.
Produce fabrication-ready CAD with proper weldment detailing.
Perform FEA (Stress Analysis) within Onshape to verify structural integrity under torque and G-loads.
This is a one-time project estimated at 3–5 hours, with additional aircraft-related work planned. Please include examples of similar structural or tube-frame CAD projects. An NDA will be required.
