About the job
We are developing a trampoline-style fitness product and need a freelance CAD designer with mechanical experience to help design the bounce system (non-spring based).
Scope:
Create CAD models for a cord/band-based bounce system
Help refine geometry and layout for consistent bounce
Advise on materials and attachment methods
Flag potential failure or wear points
Iterate based on feedback
Requirements:
Strong CAD skills (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar)
Experience with at least one:
Bungee / elastic cord systems
Flexible materials (rubber, bands, etc.)
Suspension or impact-related products
Basic understanding of how designs perform under repeated use
