About the job
I am looking for an experienced PLAXIS 3D engineer to carry out a structured dynamic analysis of a reinforced concrete slab system with multiple finishing layers.
This is not a basic static model. The objective is to produce a consultant-grade calculation report demonstrating that two different finishing systems exhibit no significant difference in structural and vibration performance under identical loading conditions.
Scope of Work:
• Model an RC slab with layered finishing materials
• Analyze two systems (existing vs alternative materials)
• Focus on one governing slab span (from actual floor layout)
• Apply:
Dynamic footfall loading (including frequency, impact, and load distribution)
Uniform live load (7.5 kPa)
• Follow vibration criteria based on AISC Design Guide 11 and ISO 10137
Technical Requirements:
• Full 3D PLAXIS model with proper mesh and boundary conditions
• Appropriate material models for concrete and layered systems
• Damping implementation for dynamic response
• Time-history or equivalent dynamic loading approach
• Ability to extract:
Acceleration response (limit: 1.5% g)
Natural frequency (minimum: 1.3 Hz)
Deflection and stress distribution
Deliverables:
• Editable PLAXIS 3D model file
• Key output plots (deformation, stress, vibration response)
• Comparison between both systems
• Concise technical report suitable for consultant submission
Important:
Only apply if you have proven experience with dynamic analy...

Only apply if you have proven experience with dynamic analysis in PLAXIS 3D. This requires correct handling of vibration criteria, not just standard deformation checks.
Please include examples of similar work (especially dynamic or vibration-related analysis).
