About the job
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical/CAD Engineer to join an ongoing mobile ground robotics development project. The project is currently in progress and requires a skilled SolidWorks engineer to review the existing design, suggest improvements, and continue development through to completion.
A Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) will be required before any project files or drawings are shared.
What We Need
Review existing SolidWorks assemblies and part files
Identify design weaknesses, errors, or areas for improvement
Provide clear feedback and improvement suggestions
Implement agreed features and improvements
Continue development of the project through subsequent design stages
Ideal Candidate
Proven experience in mechanical design using SolidWorks
Background in robotics, ground vehicles, or mechatronic systems preferred
Able to critically assess existing designs and communicate findings clearly
Knowledge of 3D printing technologies FDM and materials
Able to design parts with 3D printing constraints and best practices in mind
Comfortable working with an existing WIP project rather than starting from scratch
Detail-oriented, reliable
Willing to sign NDA prior to project file handover
