Stove & fireplace appearance designer Anyone

We are currently seeking a creative and detail-oriented Appearance Designer to join our team, focusing on the aesthetic design of wood stoves And pellet stoves .The ideal candidate will combine artistic vision with practicality, creating visually appealing, marketable, and user-friendly stove appearances that align with our brand positioning, meet industry standards, and cater to consumer preferences. You will work closely with the product engineering, marketing, and production teams to ensure that design concepts are not only aesthetically pleasing but also feasible for manufacturing and functional for end-users

Key Responsibilities
• Design innovative and attractive appearance schemes for wood stoves and pellet stoves ,including overall shape, surface texture, color matching, detail decoration, and interface layout (if applicable), while ensuring consistency with the brand’s design language.
• Conduct market research and user demand analysis to understand the latest trends in wood stove design, consumer aesthetic preferences, and competitive product advantages, integrating insights into design concepts.
• Create high-quality design sketches, renderings (2D/3D), and design specifications, clearly expressing design ideas and details to communicate with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to evaluate the compatibility with the fire box design ,the manufacturability of design schemes, optimize details to avoid design conflicts with production processes (e.g., material selection, molding, assembly), and ensure that designs can be mass-produced efficiently.
• Participate in the entire product development process, from concept design to sample production, adjusting and iterating designs based on feedback from samples, testing, and marketing teams.
• Assist in the selection of materials, finishes, and decorative elements that enhance the appearance of stoves while considering durability, heat resistance, and environmental protection requirements.
• Maintain design archives, update design documents, and ensure that all design materials are complete and traceable.
• Cooperate with the marketing team to provide design support for product promotion, including designing promotional materials related to product appearance.


Requirements & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Industrial Design, Product Design, Visual Communication Design, or related majors.
• 1-3 years of relevant work experience in product appearance design, with experience in home appliance design, heating equipment design, or furniture design preferred (experience in wood stove or metal product design is a big plus).

Professional Skills
• Proficient in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Rhino, KeyShot, SolidWorks (or other 3D modeling software), able to independently complete sketching, 3D modeling, and rendering.
• Strong aesthetic ability and creative thinking, with a keen insight into design trends and user needs, able to create unique and marketable design works.
• Understanding of material properties (especially metal, wood, and heat-resistant materials) and manufacturing processes (e.g., stamping, casting, welding, surface treatment) related to wood stoves, ensuring design feasibility.
• Good communication and coordination skills, able to effectively communicate with engineering, production, and marketing teams, and promote the implementation of design schemes.
• Detail-oriented, with strong sense of responsibility, able to complete tasks on time and ensure design quality. read less
