I am seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer or Product Designer to develop production-ready 3D CAD files for a proprietary 7-sided fragrance cap. This is for a high-end luxury brand positioning.
Project Requirements:
1. Design: A custom 7-sided geometric cap with high-precision symmetry.
2. Material: Engineered for Zamak (Zinc Alloy) injection molding.
3. Weight: Must be weighted to achieve a premium "heft" (Target: 80g - 100g).
4. Closure: Integrated Magnetic Self-Alignment system. The cap must "jump" into correct alignment with the 7 sides of the bottle using a multi-pole magnet configuration (e.g., N52 Neodymium).
5. Fit: Must be compatible with a standard FEA 15 fragrance pump and neck.
Deliverables:
1. Full 3D Assembly files (STEP/IGES and STL).
2. Design for Manufacturing (DFM) assessment.
3. Technical drawings with tolerances for factory tooling.
Note: Experience in luxury packaging or complex magnetic closures is highly preferred. NDA required before final briefing.
