Freelance 3D Modeler Needed – Furniture Modeling (3DS Max / Clean Polygonal Mesh) Ended

Hello,

We are looking for an experienced freelance 3D modeler specialized in product / furniture modeling to support us on an initial test project of 2 models:

1 storage unit
1 chair

Models will be created from reference images and exact dimensions.

🎯 Project Goal

Produce accurate, clean, and production-ready 3D models with optimized polygonal topology, suitable for integration into a real-time / e-commerce pipeline.

📦 Technical Requirements

Preferred software:

Autodesk 3DS Max (preferred but not mandatory)

Accepted formats:

.max (preferred, with modeling history)
FBX, OBJ
STEP / STL / USD accepted if necessary (not preferred due to triangulation)

Modeling specifications:

Polygonal modeling only (no CAD / NURBS / surface modeling)
Clean and efficient topology
Controlled polygon count (no excessive or irregular density)
No unnecessary geometry
Accurate proportions and product details
All components must remain separate (no merged meshes)
Clean hierarchy / object organization expected
🪑 Scope
2 models for the initial test
If successful: long-term collaboration with high volume
(tables, chairs, lighting, furniture collections, etc.)
💡 Ideal Candidate
Strong experience in furniture or product 3D modeling
Excellent understanding of topology, optimization, and clean mesh practices
Comfortable working from reference images + dimensions
Experience with real-time workflows, e-commerce, or configurators is a plus
Detail-oriented and production-focused mindset
