About the job
We are looking for a DFM specialist based in Shenzhen, Guandong, China with experience working with plastics and consumer electronics. The role involves working closely with our manufacturing partners to ensure products are optimized for manufacturing, assembly, and quality.
The candidate will be responsible for reviewing designs from a manufacturing perspective, identifying potential production issues, and helping improve designs for better efficiency and reliability.
You will also be required to coordinate closely with our design and product team based in India and communicate design intent with manufacturing partners in China.
Requirements:
Experience with Design for Manufacturing (DFM) in consumer electronics.
Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as injection molding and assembly
Fluency in Mandarin and working proficiency in English preferred for smooth coordination
Commitment:
Approximately 100 hours per month
