About the job
My thesis is titled “Computational Fluid Dynamics–Based Design and Performance Analysis of Hybrid Water–Wind Turbine Systems for Decentralized Power Generation.” The research studies two hybrid turbine configurations: a Pelton wheel combined with a horizontal-axis wind turbine (HAWT) and a floating water wheel combined with a vertical-axis wind turbine (VAWT). The turbine models are created in SOLIDWORKS, and their performance is analyzed using CFD simulations in ANSYS Fluent and CFX.
Most of the thesis is already written, but I need help with the technical simulation and analysis work, including:
* Setting up CFD simulations in ANSYS Fluent/CFX
* Performing a mesh independence study
* Generating velocity contours, pressure contours, and streamlines
* Improving the CFD methodology section
* Improving the results and discussion section
* Providing the ANSYS simulation files (.cas/.dat) and CAD models
The goal is to complete and improve the technical CFD sections of the thesis so it meets academic standards for submission.
