Project Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced CAD planner / industrial master planner to produce a professional, build-ready 2D master plan layout for the Pemba Mnazi Special Economic Zone (PM-SEZ) — an industrial park development with a strong circular economy and eco-industrial focus.

The master plan will serve for:

Government and SEZ authority approvals

Investor presentations and due diligence

Engineering handover and detailed design

Infrastructure planning and phased delivery

This is not a generic site drawing. We want a senior professional who understands industrial zoning, logistics flows, utilities planning, and SEZ dynamics.

Scope of Work

The selected candidate will deliver:

✔ Develop a highly disciplined 2D industrial master plan in AutoCAD / Civil 3D
✔ Logical zoning of industrial plots (waste-to-energy, recycling, logistics, manufacturing)
✔ Clear road hierarchy (primary arterials, secondary, service roads)
✔ Utility corridors (power, water, wastewater, storm drainage)
✔ Environmental buffers and coastal protection zones
✔ Phasing strategy for staged implementation
✔ Clean layered CAD deliverable with supporting PDF(s)

Deliverables

AutoCAD DWG(s) (layered and organized)

PDF master plan

High-resolution PNG/JPG overview

Optional: Civil 3D files if applicable

Ideal Candidate Profile

You should have:

🎯 Proven experience designing industrial parks, SEZ master plans, logistics parks, or large planned developments
🎯 Strong expertise in AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D
🎯 An ability to interpret design briefs and optimize for operational clarity
🎯 A portfolio that includes industrial zoning and infrastructure planning
🎯 Excellent communication and responsiveness

Bonus

Experience with environmental / eco-industrial planning

Experience working with governments, DFIs, SEZ authorities
