I need a 3D designer to create a lampshade inspired by stained-glass / Art Deco windows for 3D printing.
Scope:
• Design a dome-shaped lampshade (Tiffany style) with geometric Art Deco patterns similar to the reference windows I will provide (photos + sketches).
• Create an internal support structure (ribs) so the “stained glass” pattern is visible but printable in FDM.
• Include a functional mounting system for a standard E27 lamp holder (inner diameter approx. 40 mm, reinforced ring).
• Final model must be optimized for FDM printing (Bambu Lab printers): correct wall thickness, no non-manifold geometry, clean mesh.
Deliverables:
• 3D model in native format (Blender, Fusion 360 or similar) and final STL file ready to slice.
• Two versions if possible:
– Version A: single-piece shade.
– Version B: shade split in segments if needed for easier printing.
• Simple assembly diagram or screenshots showing mounting points and orientation for printing.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in product design for 3D printing (preferably lamps or decorative objects).
• Ability to work from photo references and translate them into clean geometric patterns.
• Understanding of tolerances, wall thickness and supports for FDM printers.
Extras (nice to have):
• Experience creating “stained glass” effects with translucent filaments.
