About the job
I need a local freelancer based in the Australian NSW Sydney area with CAD product design experience. You will be required to visit Eastern suburbs location to inspect the current prototype physically before beginning work.
The prototype is a piece of custom hard bodied luggage with some unique features but similar to a carryon case size with four roller wheels, tga locking, some custom inserts using all-round zippers inside the case, embedded logo on outside etc .
Required are highly accurate and meticulous CAD drawings made from the prototype (with a few tweaks and design changes) so that
a. the manufacturer could produce direct from the drawings.
b. photo-realistic 3d animations for marketing can be made
Please specify what programs you use and what type of file formats you would provide.
Also if you are interested in and capable of going beyond the CAD drawings to supply animations.
We will require all original CAD files and 3d files.
You will be required to sign non-disclosure agreement and IP agreement.
Highly advantageous to have luggage design knowledge and expertise including knowledge of suitable materials (exterior and interior).
