Scope of Work – GIS/KML Mapping for Google Earth and AutoCAD
I am looking for a skilled GIS or mapping specialist to perform the following tasks based on provided coordinate and location data:
1. Coordinate Plotting:
• Transfer all provided coordinates from given photos (including names and descriptions) into Google Earth.
• Organize the placemarks into clearly labeled Folders, categorized by place name.
• Generate a table listing the coordinates, names and descriptions into Excel file.
2. Path Creation and Export:
• Create paths from the start to end coordinates provided.
• Save each path with:
o Elevation profile,
o Screenshots or exported images of the path in a format that can be imported into AutoCAD (JPEG, PNG, or any DXF/DWG-supported overlay).
o Path length is labeled in the filename or description.
o Make a chainage every 20m
3. Polygon Mapping & Area Calculation:
• Identify and create polygons along the line where contours fall into lower terrain points.
• Name each polygon with a sequential number (e.g., Polygon 1, Polygon 2…).
• Generate a table listing each polygon’s name and its area in square meters (m²).

• Google Earth KML/KMZ file with organized folders and paths.
• Images or files compatible with AutoCAD.
• Area calculation table (in Excel or PDF format).
• Clear and consistent naming for all elements.
