We are developing a new innovative RCD product.
This is an R&D mechanical design project where we want to redesign the internal switching mechanism.
Project Scope:
Redesign the existing toggle-based RCCB mechanism into a compact, slider (Sloted)+ spring mechanism.
Create 2D drawings + 3D CAD models (SolidWorks / AutoCAD / CATIA / CREO).
Provide assembly drawings with exploded views.
Ensure the design is prototype ready and suitable for plastic molding & metal stamping.
Deliverables must include:
2D drawings with dimensions
3D CAD models (STEP/IGES format)
Assembly drawings + BOM (Bill of Materials)
Manufacturing feasibility notes
Requirements:
Experience in electrical switchgear / circuit breaker / RCCB / MCB design (preferred).
Must sign an NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) before starting.
Milestone-based delivery: Concept → 2D Drawing → 3D Model → Final Assembly.
Clear communication and timely updates are required.
What we will provide:
Reference sketches, photos of existing RCCB, and mechanism details.
Specific requirements for compact size and mechanical operation.
Important:
This is a one-time project, but if successful, we may offer long-term collaboration.
