We are seeking a skilled Jewelry CAD Designer to create accurate 2D and 3D designs for fine and fashion jewelry pieces. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in CAD software, an eye for aesthetics, and the ability to translate creative concepts into precise, manufacturable designs.
Key Responsibility
Develop high-quality 3D CAD models of jewelry (rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings, etc.) based on sketches, references, or verbal concepts.
Create detailed technical drawings with accurate dimensions, tolerances, and specifications for manufacturing and stone setting.
Work with designers, clients, or production teams to ensure designs are feasible and optimized for casting, 3D printing, and production.
Prepare renderings and visual presentations for client approval and marketing purposes.
Modify and revise existing CAD files to meet client or production requirements.
Ensure proper understanding of gemstone placement, prong settings, metal weights, and finishing techniques.
Stay updated with industry trends, materials, and jewelry manufacturing processes.
