About the job
As we manufacture different parts from metal, we need to convert hand-drawn 2D sketches into CAD files using FreeCAD.
These files will be used for cutting. I have attached sample sketch drawings and a FreeCAD file for reference.
There are 1 to 4 steps involved in the conversion process. Please provide a quote per sketch (rather than per hour) based on the first step and all four steps.
Steps:
1. Convert the hand-drawn sketch into a 2D drawing.
2. Link spreadsheets to the sketch (table of parameters).
3. Create separate layers for cutting and markup (the laser machine should recognize the separation, either by layers or colors, using the DXF format).
4. In some cases, unfold geometric objects such as cones or cylinders into 2D shapes.
Our time zone is GMT+3.
