3D CAD Model for Molded Rubber Outsole (Work Boot – Fixed Price) Ended

About the job

We are developing a new ergonomic work boot with a custom rubber outsole and require a mold-ready 3D CAD model based on our technical drawings.

This job is for the outsole only—no upper or full shoe design required.

You will receive 2D technical drawings after signing a non-disclosure agreement (NDA). The model will be used for rubber injection or compression molding.



Scope of Work:
• Build a 3D model in STEP and STL formats ready for manufacturing
• Key design features:
• 4mm base thickness
• 5mm lug height across outsole base
• Variable sidewall lug height
• Sidewall wrap and stitch groove/inlay channel
• Apply appropriate draft angles, wall thickness, and mold tooling considerations



Deliverables:
• Mold-ready STEP and STL files
• Clean, structured CAD files for feedback/review
• Files optimized for mold tooling or 3D mold simulation



Requirements:
• Experience with footwear outsoles or rubber part design
• Skilled in SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or Rhino
• Familiar with draft angle, split lines, and moldable geometry
• Ability to work from orthographic drawings



Confidentiality:

An NDA is required before any files are released. The project contains proprietary geometry and IP.



Budget & Timeline:
• Fixed price: AUD $700–$1,000
• Delivery preferred within 5 days after NDA signing and file transfer
