We conduct Research & Development in the field of technically advanced earth & rock drilling technology and require the services of an experienced Mechanical Engineering Draftsperson.
You will need to be proficient in the application of the SolidWorks drafting platform to produce fully dimensioned and functional tolerance analysed manufacturing drawings. An understanding and ability to apply and utilize Finite Element Analysis tools to optimize a design would be useful.
The job requires accessing our existing SolidWorks data base and the preparation and consolidation of CNC program-ready production drawings for transmission to potential clients under the guidance of our Intellectual Property Manager.
This position will also involve working alongside our design personnel during ongoing R&D and the production of drawings for desktop analysis and prototyping. This will include producing simple 2D drawings for filling Patent Applications.
